Gadsden County 4-H Youth Development program offers several types of club settings from community, in-school, after-school, and special project to help youth become their best while learning leadership, citizenship, and life skills. Gadsden 4-H Clubs are open to youth 5 – 18. Youth age is determine by September 1 of the year.

Come learn how to wok with and care for your livestock, choose quality animals, serve your community, and have fun. . Joining 4-H
4-H is a community of young people across Gadsden County who are learning leadership, citizenship, and life skills.
Requirements/Recommendations:
- Youth must have turned 5 before September 1. Youth must not have had their 18 birthday prior to September 1.
- Submit enrollment packet
- Have fun
- Attend club meetings on regular basis
- Participate in community service activities and other activities planned by club
- Select a project/subject matter area to gain new skills and knowledge
- Submit record book(s) to show what you’ve done and skills and knowledge gained
- Share what you’ve learned by doing a speech or demonstration at club meetings and County Events
- Receive recognition for your efforts
- Make new friends
- Develop skills that will last you a lifetime
- Participate in other 4-H County, District, and State Activities
- Expand your horizon through your 4-H experience.
- Make the best better while learning by doing.
If you would like to join any of these clubs, please contact our office at 850/875-7255 and ask that an enrollment packet be sent to you. There is no cost to join 4-H. There is an annual insurance fee of $1.00 for all clubs except the 4-H Saddle Club and 4-H Shooting Sports which is $2.00.
